When You Visit

Whether you're joining us as the guest of a member, attending a private event, or visiting through a reciprocal club, we look forward to welcoming you to The Piedmont Club. Located in the heart of downtown Spartanburg, the Club offers a gracious setting for dining, conversation, and meaningful gatherings. To help preserve the experience our members value, we ask that all visitors observe the Club's traditions and guidelines during their visit.

The Piedmont Club is a place where members and their guests gather to relax, connect, and enjoy one another's company. Televisions are intentionally absent from member spaces, preserving an atmosphere centered on conversation and shared experiences.

Members and guests are asked to keep mobile devices on silent and to take phone calls outside shared Club spaces. We appreciate your help in preserving the gracious, attentive atmosphere that defines the Club experience.

Dining at The Piedmont Club is an occasion to be enjoyed. Our dress guidelines reflect a longstanding tradition of dressing for the occasion while helping preserve the welcoming, refined atmosphere of the Club.

During the day, appropriate attire includes collared shirts, golf shirts, or turtlenecks with tailored pants for gentlemen, and dresses, blouses, sweaters, skirts, or tailored pants for ladies.

After 4:00 p.m., gentlemen are asked to wear jackets throughout the Club.

Shorts, denim clothing, T-shirts, sweatshirts, untucked shirts, athletic attire, running shoes, extremely casual sandals, and baseball caps are not considered appropriate Club attire.

Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests observe these guidelines. Children over the age of 12 are expected to follow the same standards.

Guests visiting The Piedmont Club may park in the Club lot adjacent to the clubhouse. Additional parking is also available in nearby adjoining lots and in the parking garage located across Main Street from the Club.
