Policies & Dress Code
Dress Code:
The Piedmont Club Dress Code Policy is designed to allow for Members to enjoy their Club. Members must abide by this policy to preserve the ambiance and prestige that is the reputation of The Piedmont Club.
Men: LUNCH: Gentlemen are NOT required to wear a jacket. DINNER: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket in all in all areas of the Club. Ties are not required.
Women: Suit (including business pantsuit), dress or blazer with skirt or tailored slacks, tailored pants with a blouse or sweater.
Prohibited: T-Shirts, sweatshirts, or other shirt without collar; athletic attire, tennis shoes, shorts, jeans (regardless of value), denim jackets, untucked shirts, and baseball caps.
Compliance: It is the responsibility of every member to inform his or her invited guests of the Dress Code. In the interest of assisting guests to comply with the dress code, the Club has a limited supply of sports coats for use in the Club.
Enforcement: The Club staff is required to enforce the Dress Code in all areas of the Club. Any person not in compliance with the Dress Code may be asked to leave an area or the Club.
Policies:
Reservations: Reservations are requested for lunch and dinner in all dining rooms.
Cancellation Policy: Throughout the year, the club hosts a number of sold-out special Member Events. Reservations are confirmed to ensure your attendance and free up space for those on the waiting list. Our 48-hour cancellation policy for special Member Events such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Wine Tastings, etc. will provide us the opportunity to accommodate others; thus a 50% fee will be billed to your account if a reservation is not canceled at least 48 hours prior to the event. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding. All functions where the cancellation policy is in effect will be noted as such.
Tax and Service Charges: Unless specified as inclusive, prices indicated are subject to a twenty percent (20%) service charge, a seven percent (7%) sales tax, and a two percent (2%) hospitality tax.
Electronic Device Policy: Use of cell phones and other electronic devices (e.g.,laptops, tablets, etc.) is strictly prohibited in the following areas:
All Member dining rooms where “a la carte” dining is being served and includes all Club special events, the General Daniel Morgan room (the bar), all interior hallways and common areas.
Members are encouraged to place their phones on vibrate when at the Club, and if a call must be taken that they do so in the following areas:
Any outside terrace, patio or porch or the foyer off the Porte Cochere.
“Use of cell phones” includes texting, e-mailing and internet use, in addition to voice calls.
Use of these items in private dining rooms is at the discretion of the host.
Private Dining Rooms: Functions including parties of twelve or more require advance-menu planning with the catering department.
